Modalities gives you the sounds to make your own ‘80s synth-pop hit.
Anyone wanting to emulate Depeche Mode at home now has a short cut to recreating the band’s sound thanks to a new plug-in.
Modalities is a VST created by LoopLords that includes “162 multi-sampled and hand-crafted sounds” inspired by the music of Depeche Mode, covering bass, leads and more.
Accroding to LoopLords, each sound has been “carefully tweaked to be rich in tones and highly playable”. It sports a simple interface for sound shaping, which includes controls for amp, ADSR, reverb and glide as well as a voice mode selector.
